Parent? Mom? Bubba?

Question

My wife and I are 12 weeks. Expecting our first, a girl. We can’t wait!
But I was struck by how all the literature on what to expect when you’re not the carrier is around either being a dad or the woman who is carrying. How have others handled their identity as parent but not mom? 
Also wondering if there are reccos on literature I could read.

Yeah I do a little eye roll whenever stuff just talks about partner being the ‘dad’... it’s very outdated. 
I will be mum/mummy she will be mama ☺️

I haven't had much luck on literature either, except some websites will say spouse or partner instead of husband. As far as names go, my wife's name is Meora (Pronounced May-Or-Uh) and so she's going to go by MeMe (Pronounced  May-May). We already use Momma and Meme when we talk about each other to our puppy, so it'll be the same with our baby.
