My husband and I have been married for 8 1/2 years now, and were finally ready to have our first baby!! I just started taking prenatal vitamins today and got a ovulation kit also. 
How long did it take you to conceive your first child?! 
I've read that it may take couples close to 6 months to conceive depending on womans fertility.

We got pregnant on the first month. I am 29. I was waiting for it to take longer and was surprised at fast it happened

I got really lucky and it only took me 1 month, but even the healthiest couples can take up to a year to get pregnant! OPKs are super helpful and I definitely recommend preseed.

It took us 3. I had been on birth control for 15 years and had never really thought of my ovulation cycle. We just had sex around the time of ovulation and hoped for the best!

Over 18 months. Many many tests. I have PCOS, though. We ended up getting pregnant just before we started fertility treatments.
