Not how I wanted to spend my day today💔

So today was not how I expected to go. My family and I had to put down our dog that was about 12 years old. My brother came home from work today and saw our dog laying on the floor under the kitchen table and there was blood everywhere. So he called my sister after she got off work and she rushed over to the house and she instantly burst into tears. So my brother texted me and sent me pictures of everything and so I said get to her a vet ASAP just come over and pick me up. So as we got back to his house I walked in the kitchen and I immediately burst into tears and I had to walk outside and luckily there’s a vet office like 5 mins away from my brothers house so we took our dog there and the nurse basically said our dog could of had a hematoma and it just bursted. So we chose to have our dog to be put down. Her name was shadow and she was about 12 but she still acted like a little puppy

It was definitely hard saying goodbye to an awesome dog that I grew up with💔 RIP shadow. It just feels empty without having her now😭
