I am 6wks and 1day today. On Monday and Tuesday I had some pretty bad back pain. Then on Tuesday night I went to the bathroom and there was bright red blood in my underwear and when I wiped. Right after I started getting some bad cramps and pain on my left side. I bled on and off all night. I went to the doctors Wednesday and they told me from the ultrasound that the sac was empty but it could be because I was too early to see the baby. I have a heart shaped uterus and the doctor told me that on the right side was the empty sac and on the left was some tissue that could be a part of a twin pregnancy to the sac on the right side and maybe I’m losing the twin on the left. She apologized and told me it’s just too early to really tell anything and had me do some blood work and told me to come back Monday unless the bleeding got worse. I bled on and off the rest of the day but I haven’t had any bleeding since Thursday morning. I was just wondering if anything like this has ever happened to anyone or even just bleeding and then still had a change of a healthy pregnancy.
