Break Up Guidance

Okay, so 2 weeks ago, I broke up with my boyfriend because I found out that he was talking to other girls. When we first started dating, I was in his bio on all of his socials, then he went to jail for 7 months. About an hour or two after he got out, he immediately started texting other girls and removed me from his bio. A week ago, he started dating this new girl who looks kind of similar to me. And he’s doing things with her he never did with me. For some unknown reason, I want him back. I told him how I felt and he said that “I shouldn’t have broken up with him”, he hates me, and I’ve changed. I don’t know if I’m feeling this way because we have just broken up or if I genuinely want to be with him. Any help or advice is welcomed!
