small gender reveal?

Anyone had a small gender reveal? Any ideas? I'm debating on whether or not to have one. If I do I want to do something very small. Perhaps a small dinner? I don't really like to be put on spot and well I suck at planning these kind of events. I'm a first time mom and would like to hear some ideas. Don't want anything big. i find out in 3 weeks!

We had one with our parents , siblings and close friends at my sister house . Had some cupcakes , fruit and chicken . My sister did the egg idea ( you have blue and pink colored eggs , there’s one raw egg and the rest are hard boiled , when you smash the raw egg that’s what you’re having ) we were down to the last eggs a pink and a blue and me and my husband smashed them at the same time and the blue was the raw one ! So i thought it was a boy . But my sister always has to be extra and came out with a wrapped present . We opened it and it was a tutu . She said “ just kidding , it’s a girl “ i cried i was so happy 😂😂definitely enjoyed our gender reveal !!! Should definitely have one itsfun and suspenseful

We just went over my in-laws for dinner and my sister in law who knew it was a girl in advance baked cupcakes with the pink frosting on the inside. Very cute but not a huge thing.

We had a family/close friends dinner. They put all the salty foods on the “boy” table and all the sweet foods on the “girl” table which I thought was really creative. We also had people guess on a chalk board what they thought it was. At the end of the night we cut into a cake that had pink icing between the layers. It was really low key, 15 people tops. I honestly enjoyed it more than my baby shower Bc it more intimate :)

Yes! I had a small one. Close family and a few friends. Just did the box with balloons in it. Took 2 days to plan and maybe $100 in food and deco! Just some cupcakes, cheese and fruit platters and 2 pizzas and soda. It was a great night!!!!! It’s a girl!

We invited our close family to go eat out at the nice restaurant and we revealed it by cutting a cake! It was nice and simple, didn't take to much planning and we got his aunt to make the cake!

Small dinner with immediate family.....make it potluck and take the stress off you. Dessert could be the gender reveal cake.
Or you could do a small BBQ and pop a confetti balloon in the yard
