BV early pregnancy

How did you treat BV during early pregnancy?

I’m 11 weeks as of today

My doctor did prescribe a vaginal cream called clindamycin but after doing research I see that it does seem to be recommended for the first trimester. I can’t get in contact with my doctor until Monday to ask questions but I was just curious how other moms treated it.
