Should date at 15?

I'm a 15 year old girl. I get almost all A's ( One B 🙈) do my chores, work as a lifegaured, head of my section in band, and has never drank or done drugs. Is there any reason why my parents might not let me date. I'm responsible and have maintained good grades my whole life.

Relationships right now are not a good idea period. You seem to be doing awesome, but if you got into a relationship right now that COULD quickly change. It’s not always the case but being young and having those teenage hormones it’s very easy to get distracted.

Tbh I’m 16 and relationships suck I’ve been in 2 and if y’all break up it’s gonna hurt :/ especially your first. That’s why I’m not dating again till I’m 18 and can have an actual real adult relationship without asking my parents for going out and without being afraid of getting pregnant cus my parents don’t let me get birth control. Thank god i didn’t loose my virginity to none of them 🙏🏼

Ive never really been a “good student” type of person generally just C+ and B’s. But i got into a relationship when i just turned 14 and have been with him since (im 16 now, we’ve been together 3.5 years and i’m graduating next year). I think as long as you’re both responsible and you can find someone mature enough at your age, go for it! And good luck.

I think dating in middle/high school should get more credit than it receives. Even though it's probably not going to work out, if you never date until you're 20, you'll just have to go through all the middle school awkwardness as a 20 year old, or not know how to tell a bad from good S/O. Dating in school is basically practice for you when you get older IMO, so yuh go for it.

Girl I had the same question as you but later on I was able to figure out when I was ready so finally now I have a bf who I love so much. so I just told my parents and they were fine with it because they know that at my age I will start to like boys. I'm 15 and I'm the captain in colorguard for marching band, I have all straight A's, and I've never done drug or drank before too.

I actually got really lucky and met my best friend at 14 and we've been together ever since. 😊😍🤗 So, no, 15 is not too young, especially if ur that well put together. You could handle it girl.✌🏻️😝

Honey, I wouldn’t cuz guys are idiots and get you into trouble but one thing that my does is when a dude likes me and wants my number, he has to call my dad first. If your mom or Dad thinks the guy is ok then go for it.

Like you said, your responsible etc. it’s not our opinion that will change it. If you think you won’t get distracted and your grades will stay up and your chores will be still as important then go for it. Ask your parents first to get their say, but personally it’s up to you.
