fragile x and autism help

when your child was diagnosed did you notice it more especially when they ate odd things or anything else or autism traits sorry if dont make sense. my oldest may have fragile x but was diagnosed with autism still in process with it and regional center with intellectual disability. just at loss with her behavior and odd things she tries to eat? we don't see her genetic doctor til results he the main one who would help but it a process still just need some light or info if has happened with your child. appreciate the help
