How often do you have sex with your significant other?

I just had a "girls day" with some friends and we were talking about sex, as you do. All of us are 21. We started talking about how often we have sex (we're all in relationships) or how often we would prefer to have sex. Both my friends were saying they only have sex 3-4 times a week and wouldn't want to have sex more. I on the other hand have sex with my boyfriend almost every single day, more or less depending on the day and if we're busy or I don't feel good. The first half of our relationship was long distance so we would only see each other for a couple days every week or so. In the beginning we had sex 3 times a day for about the first 8 months I'd say (We've been dating almost 2 years), but once we moved in together and focused more on college it became once, maybe twice a day.

Basically, I felt bad after I told my friends because they were like "oh god how can you have sex that often?? I would never do that! Sounds like he has a problem." Then one of them went on to say that she doesn't think her boyfriend should watch porn anymore because "isn't she enough?" Where as I don't mind if my boyfriend watches porn because that at least gives me a break. Plus he's ALWAYS horny and affectionate, so he jerks off 1-2 a day even if we've had sex that day. He's a very testosterone heavy college guy.

Now from my boyfriend's side he thinks we don't have enough sex and brings up the times we had sex 3 times a day. He'd also really rather do stuff with me than watch porn. Which is great but my vagina needs time to recuperate from the daily sex, shaving and washing. His guy friends who are in relationships for the most part have sex once or more a day.

I know every person is different and every relationship is different and that I shouldn't compare myself and my relationship but I still want to know what your thoughts are on the matter.
