cervix pain sign of labor?

ice Ben having consistent cervix pain today like the baby is pulling it or something. is this a sign of labor's?

Answer

contractions? 
dialated? 
effaced? 
might be effacement, 
I'm at 39.6 weeks, and only 1cm 
but 50% effaced, and it's been hurting like someone ( baby 😉) is scratching her way out, or like an open wound being repeatedly opened by someone ( baby,pushing her way down more)
