So I used to be adopt dont shop all the way till I was in college and I wanted my own puppy. I had done a lot of research on what sort of breed I wanted because I needed a puppy that I knew how big it was going to be as I Knew I was going to be moving several times. I am not usually a fan of small dogs but it's what I had to get. I was afraid of getting a mixed breed because after working at a shelter I found out that some dogs they thing will be medium or small are not so small. I looked at breed specific rescues and the ones that adopted in my area you had to have a fenced in yard no exceptions. Now since husband and I have bought our house we already rescued one dog from a rescue and we are in the process of adopting another. My husband gives me grief about how we got my first dog. So what do you think should you always rescue or is ok to go to reputable breeder?
