Ladies how do you deal with a snitch co-worker?

I work at a job where you are not suppose to use your phone but people do it every once in a while when supervisors are not around. Over a year ago, I was doing this and this guy I work with asked me a work related question at the time and I answered him and things were fine. Until the next day, a supervisor came to remind me that we're not suppose to be on our phones. I have no idea why he tattletaled (he was the only one there so it was definitely him) especially considering I've seen him on his phone multiple times. But at the time it wasn't a big deal, and I never asked him about it.

Until recently, he's snitched on me twice about little things at work, things he could've just said something to me about but just goes to the supervisor. I'm not sure what the problem is and I don't know how or if I should confront him?
