ADVISE 😶
So I’ve been on sick leave with work for almost three months now, an during that time I’ve lost over three stone because all I’m doing is being sick. I can’t eat anything without being sick, nor can I drink anything. My doctor has advised me during this time not to work as I’m feeling faint, since there’s nothing in my system. I’ve also found out I’m pregnant about 2 months along, so cue fatigue and smells galore. I feel like death.
I know I need to go back to work soon, since we need as much money as possible contributing to this child. The doctors are unable to perform any tests we had planned on me, as there is a chance of miscarriage, and so for now I’m stuck. My question is, do you guys think it’s fair of me to request reduced hours at my return to work? As if anything, I’m worse off than i originally was. My doctor supports this decision, surely it’s something my work place will have to consider/take onboard?
