Work 😰😰 what are my rights?

I put my name down to the carer shift as an extra ages ago. The senior carer isn’t able to work the senior shift for medical reasons and is in hospital. The other carer has put her name down to the shift but she isn’t a senior. I have been messaged by a senior carer if she could take my place instead! But I refused as I need the extra funds for my baby!
