Pharmacist is demanding I have a pneumonia vaccine?

I’m 10 weeks with no signs of sickness or disease relating to lungs or kidneys. I’m a diabetic, very controlled and sugars are stable and within normal range. Why would they want me to have a vaccine for it? I googled it and it said it’s not safe. Anyone go through this?

I wouldn’t be getting any vaccines right now unless your OB says you need it.

Why is a pharmacist trying to tell you you need a vaccine? Ignore them. Pharmacists tend to not know much about anything in my experience.

that's crazy. I'm totally pro-vax, but that isn't one of the ones recommended during pregnancy. if you are uber high risk (which it doesn't sound like you are) they still recommend you try to get it before you get pregnancy. I agree with the other ladies, check with your OB first
