middle name

We will be naming our son Henry. His last name will be French (boyfriends last name). We live in Quebec, Canada, so even if we got married, i would keep my last name (Patrick). My boyfriend suggested we have his middle name be Patrick, cause it doesnt only sound like a last name...ya know. I find it would be a bit confusing because alot (ALOT) of people around here put both parents last names as their kids last name....but i very much dont like that, its just toooooo many names for a little kiddo to learn. Im just not sure if i want to spend my life saying no, patrick is his middle name, he only has 1 last name. Do you think its cute? any other suggestions?
