What did yall pack in your hospital bag? Also what are some must haves for baby, that most wouldn't think of?

All I packed for our daughter was a couple pacifiers and clothes. As for myself, I just packed what I would normally pack for a weekend away: leggings, jeans, socks, a sweatshirt for if it got chilly, loose tops, bras/bralettes, chargers, my MacBook, shower essentials, makeup, etc. I also brought my own pillow and blanket. Super simple. I didn't pack anything I wouldn't normally pack (aside from the pacifiers and baby clothes lol).

I’d say everything Amanda said and add in your own pillow and small blanket (hospital ones are horribly uncomfortable) chapstick and lotion of some kind!! I felt very dry while in the hospital. Depending on when baby is born I’d say appropriate gear like hat or headbands(if a girl) seasonal appropriate covering for baby and car seat. Nursing pads and nipple cream. 
I feel like there’s more I had last time and will won’t this next time around but that’s all I can think of for now.

-comfortable going home outfit (make sure it’s loose, I ended up with a c-section and my clothes were too tight on my incision but I had to suffer through it)
-bring your own soft dark colored towel (I forgot mine and had to use the hospitals and it was really rough and hurt my nipples that were already sore from learning to breastfeed)
-your own toiletries so you can feel at least a little normal after you’re allowed to shower
-simple outfit for baby to wear home (bring newborn and 0-3 month sizes unless you know how big your baby is)
-comfortable nursing bra (will save your chafed nipples from rubbing the gown if you’re breastfeeding)
That’s pretty much all I used out of everything I brought with me.

It really depends on how long you’re looking to be there for and what your hospital provides. Most people bring suitcases full and IMHO that’s overboard. All you need is comfy going home outfit(yogas/sweatpants, comfy shirt). You’ll want your basic toiletries toothpaste/brush, shampoo/conditioner, face wash etc... you’ll want a going home or picture outfit and a comfy outfit for the baby. I dont know if your hospital provides diapers, wipes burp clothes (mine does) so you may have to bring those.

Right now I'm planning for a c section so I might have a little extra. But I have 3 comfy pjs, a black robe, granny panties, nursing bra, nursing pads and cream, slippers, shower shoes, couple outfits for baby, a swaddle and receiving blanket and socks, and then my personal toiletries with dry shampoo and chapstick! I also plan to bring headphones, charger, nursing pillow and of course my insurance card and ID. I'm sure I'm forgetting to list something but those are my basics.
