I work in the schools and my husband is back in school for another year. We are debating if we should start trying now or if we should wait until September so I won’t have to take a maternity leave. Thoughts??

We decided to start trying end of December. I told my husband, ideally, we would get pregnant and be due after the following Dec (Dec 2018). So he asked if I wanted to wait a few months and I was like “no, it probably won’t happen right away and if we have trouble, I want to be able to go to the dr and say we’ve been trying for x amount of months”. We ended up pregnant our first month trying..... Timing may have been a little off but you never know if it will or won’t happen right away. We’re both so excited to meet our little girl in October!

You never know how long it will take to get pregnant, I wanted to wait until February to start trying last year to get thanksgiving and xmas off, fiancee talked me into starting in August, and I'm soo glad because it took 7 months, and I ended up pregnant in February 😂 Planning rarely works out where babies are involved 😉
