Do I belong?
I read the rules, but I am not sure if I quite belong in here yet.
I am 28, my fiancé is 33 and September will mark 1 year of us trying, so we really haven’t been at it for long... however we are suffering from recurrent miscarriages, having just had our 3rd miscarriage that we know of this year, this time at 12 weeks. I learned today that my hcg level was extremely high at the time of my D&C; (13 weeks), this is a red flag in regards to trisomies and triploidy, and we have both now been genetically tested to see if either of us have genetic issues that keep causing us to lose our babies, we can conceive easily enough apparently but carrying is a problem, and a heart breaking one. As we wait for the tests and for the ability to try again, I am trying to explore our options and prepare for the future.
I know recurrent miscarriage is considered a fertility issue, but most women in this group seem to struggle to conceive in general... please let me know if I should take my questions and explorations elsewhere. I am in the TTC after Miscarriage group, but very few of those women are looking at things like IVF with PGD, surrogacy or other options at this point.
Thank you ladies and I wish you all luck on your journeys.
