How long did u wait to have sex after a Csection?

It’s been a week and I’m already feeling horny 😩 I know no penetration for 6 weeks but how long did y’all actually wait? Did u wait the full 6 weeks or did u do it before then? 
If so did u regret not waiting? Or were u perfectly fine?

Are you serious ?? it's been 3 weeks since my emergency csection & I don't even want to think about sex ..between never sleeping & feeling like I have a constant body odor from breastfeeding that won't go away even with a shower..i feel pretty unattractive. Even tho my husband is always saying I look beautiful hahaha he's funny

I waited 7 weeks after both of mine. I couldn’t even stand up straight a week after my c sections never mind think about sex.

I definitely waited the 6 weeks bc I did not want any extra complications. Tried at 7 weeks & it was uncomfortable. I think it was around 3 months before I felt comfortable enough that I could enjoy it. It took a whole year before my body felt like it had completely recovered from the c section so dont be surprised if it takes you awhile.

lol I waited 12 days after my daughter was born, only a little bit of pain and everything went smoothly. I'd say go with what you're body is telling you. every one is different. and I had a C-section with complications

I barely had any pain after my c section, thank goodness! The drs were shocked how well I walked around the day after. We had sex after 4 1/2 weeks and my bleeding had stopped. I felt fine. No issues. My dr never said anything negative when she asked at my 6 week check up. You know your body best.

I felt perfectly normal after 6 weeks from natural vaginal birth, but daaaamn it hurt so bad we couldn’t do anything for another two weeks 😭
Maybe try just kinda... helping yourself for a little while? At least then you can control your own movements and hopefully it wont be so bad?
