Can I be pregnant?

Can I be pregnant and still have a period? I know someone who had bleeding through her entire pregnancy like she had her period every month.. I have taken 4 tests since 6/28 and 3 out of the 4 had very faint positives. Today I got my period. Could I still be pregnant or were they just false positives?

Answer

You can’t have your period if you are pregnant. However, it’s not uncommon to bleed throughout pregnancy which causes women to think its their period. If you’re getting positives then you’re most likely pregnant. Maybe get a blood test to be sure?
