Hookup while on nuvaring but I messed up

I hooked up with a old fwb for the first time we had sex yesterday 6/30 and I’m on the nuva ring. I started my ring a day early because when I usually put it in I’m at work and it takes a while for me to get it in. I started with the new ring 6/24. I’ve been on the ring for 5 months or so, it worked with my ex and we never used condoms. But since I started it a day early I’m scared.
