Tips for Anxiety?
I have been diagnosed with GAD since I was around 13 and discontinued medications at 17 after 6-7 failed medications. Occasionally I’ll smoke weed to help, but due to my current situation I stopped smoking three months ago...
Current situation: I’m a third year law student attempting to transfer to a new university because of some terrible things that happened at my old university. I spent around a year in therapy before deciding that transferring was my only option.
I sent in all the paperwork and now I’m waiting for the decision which is only sent through email [no letters for some reason]. And I can’t stop panicking that I won’t get in and I’m going to be trapped forever.
Half of me is aware it’s my anxiety but I just need some ideas for how to keep myself distracted while I wait for the decision.
I just keep checking my email every five minutes and hoping.
