Relationship advice
Does anyone ever have stupid arguments with their partner over the most stupid random things but then it escalates into ww3?! I was dating my husband for about 3 years then in May this year we got married. We are now expecting baby number 1 (I’m only 5 weeks). We have always been quite heated when we argue, it could be an argument about doing the dishes but it then turns into a competition about how busy we both are and how the other one never does anything. We always get over it and make up but now that I’m pregnant I’m really worried that the stress of stupid arguments is going to cause an issue with the baby. I definitely take after my mum and am stubborn but my husband is the same. Things really piss me off sometimes but I just can’t let them drop. For example my husband has had 2 weeks off work this month as holiday so I asked him to hoover...did he hoover...NOPE! He says that cause he is on holiday he shouldn’t have to do housework and I need to stop bossing him about. We have a dog so there is always fur all over the floor. He can’t seem to understand about helping with some of the house chores. How do people bite their tongue and just get on with it without causing arguments? Am I over reacting with stuff like this? As the World Cup is on now that’s the only thing he is interested in, we only found out 2 weeks ago that I’m pregnant and he has hardly spoken to me about it because he is more interested in the football. I just needed to rant but if anyone has some helpful advice I would love to hear it!!
