day 4 of 5 of my period. i was 20 days late last cycle with the hopes of being pregnant. this is the first time i’ll be using OPK’s so if you guys have any tips or advice i’d love to know! how soon after your period do you start testing?

I use the same brand . I start using the OPKs a few days (like cycle day 10) after my period (I usually ovulate somewhere around CD 12-17)  . I believe inside the opk instructions it says depending on your cycle length when to start testing. You can stop testing once you get a strong positive ( I usually test a day or so after I get a strong positive) . Then for those HTPs they aren’t as sensitive as like first response but I have seen some ladies get positives on them around 10-12 DPO . They do require more HCG though, so for some women it may not be positive until later .

Following apparently I’ve been using them too early so I run out. Plus my apps are all over the place. One says I ovulate in a week, one says eleven days from now, and one says eight days.
