Is "Jesus Christ" a curse word?

My family and I went to visit some relatives out of town. We went to a carnival and decided to get the kids some ice cream. 30 seconds later my cousins 7 year old son trips and drops his ice cream on the ground. "Jesus Christ!" he yelled. He was so mad. My cousin laughed, my grandmother was horrified and told him to stop cursing. My cousin got pissed and told our grandmother that "Jesus Christ" is not cursing. I then got to hear them argue back and forth about it the rest of the night 😡 What do you guys think?
