Implant in arm; did u like it?

I’m getting it on the 9th ( my period is supposed to start that day to ) and I was wonder will my period stop or ??
And why didn’t u like the implant ? Every story I’ve heard is that it made them have there period for weeks straight

Doctors couldn't find it in my sisters arm. It was in there for 1 year. She had to get surgery to get it taken out. But she hated it she was always spotting.

depends on the person. got my period the same month I had it implanted, but none since, not even spotting. Also thought this would be good for me to gain some weight, nada. but overall, great.

I’ve had it twice so 6 years total . The first time I got it I didn’t have a period for like 2 years it was great . Then when I got it taken out and a new one put in it was different. I hated it!!! I started getting periods randomly and sometimes they would last like a month ! My first time it wasn’t called nexplanon it was called implanting. I don’t know if there’s a difference but yeah

I had 3 total 2 for the full 3 years and I never had a period on it, light spotting towards the end of the 3 years but AF was nowhere to be found for 6+ years

I had my periods regularly put after the 2nd year a was experiencing arm numbness, tingling and weakness.. I got it off and I couple months later I felt a lot better
