What has your doctor said is safe during pregnancy for constipation?

I posted a few days ago about a lump in the back wall of my vagina and can’t get into the doc until Friday. However while doing more research, I think I’ve figured out that it’s called rectocele. Basically where you’re so constipated that it causes a bulge into the vagina. Makes total sense cause I haven’t pooped in almost a week. I keep trying but no luck. Anyways.. I know laxatives are a no go. But I need something!

I will be calling my doc to get their recommendations as well before anyone does the whole call your Dr stuff.
