Struggling - does counselling work?
So for the past 4 years I’ve been really tackling my depression, even to the point of feeling like I’d never had it before. But over the last year things have massively changed in my life. I started my nursing degree which I’ve been so happy to do. But in November I lost my nan to motor neurone disease and then 2 months later my grandad passed away. I’ve been struggling within my relationship with my boyfriend and starting to feel like I’m going to snap. It’s hard to be getting the thoughts and feelings that I had years ago and I feel like I’ve let myself down. Has anyone tried counselling? I am now thinking of using counselling services after a telephone consultation with a doctor. Feeling completely like I am on the verge of snapping and going insane. Also if anyone has any self help tips or things that have helped them I would appreciate a few ideas. Thanks.
