I'm a recent college graduate applying for jobs in a city 2 hours from where I'm living w/my parents right now. Would I get more luck listing an address closer to where the jobs are?

Ive screened many apps & been on several interview panels to hire people. We’ve hired someone from all the on the East Coast for a job in California. It doesn’t matter where you live, it does matter if you lie. Good luck.

No, it’s best just to be honest about it. You have to show them you’re serious about moving there. It might help if there’s a particular reason you’re moving and you can tell them that.
