is this acid reflux or heartburn?

it feels like there's hot liquid in my throat but there isn't. Is this  heartburn or acid reflux. what can I take for it being 7 months pregnant

I am in that club. my doctor has me taking Zantac twice a day, sleeping sitting up, and having very small frequent meals, no fluids with meals- just in between. the in between I have small glasses of milk.

I’m 7months and lived by tums up until 5 1/2 months and they stopped working. Milk can sometimes make it worse for people. My doctor put me on Prilosec OMG wish I had this day one. I seen changes the next day. I still burp sometime. But have not had burning not once and only been taking it 5 days. I take one pill every morning and it’s perfectly safe for baby.

My doc said tums or Maylox but I’d check with yours first. I’ve had horrible heart burn and acid reflux since I was about 8 weeks. I started with tums and when that stopped working the Maylox has been working. Good luck!
