how badly will this tattoo hurt and how long do you think it'd take?

I know nobody can specifically tell an answer to these things, I'm just wanting an opinion!! I want the numb tattoo but in the placement of the hello it's me tattoo (so numb above the fold of my inner elbow)  I don't want there x's or dots simply the word numb in red ink and that font
I have a nose and smiley piercing but this will be my first tattoo!!

The nearer the crook of your elbow, the more painful. I have some big pieces on my arm - the wrist was quite sore and the crook of my elbow was the worst spot. Everyone’s different though, some people have a higher tolerance than others. I will say that my tattoo artist has always said you should try to avoid trendy tattoos, if this is to do with the rapper X, I’d recommend you wait a while just to make sure you still relate to you. I mean it’ll be on you forever so no harm in just making sure he’s someone you’d want to represent you (as tattoos do). Not preaching at all, just advise from my tattoo artist to try and be careful but good luck 😊

Numb would be beautiful in the red ink. I like the first placement, I have a tattoo close to that part of my arm (in the second photo) and mannnn let me tell you, the closer it got to the crease, I thought I was gonna jump off the table 😂

Forearm is minimal pain. 
Collarbone hurts when it’s hammered on.
I have both of these places tattooed including the ditch on my arm. The collarbone hurts, yo.

tats hurt more closer to bone and where the skin is thinner/sensitive.. pinch the area a bit or poke it with a safety pin to get an idea. from my experience, it's not terrible in that area but closer to the bends are usually sensitive

I have tattoos every where, I have a sleeve, ribs, feet, etc. that spot and the elbow are extremely painful. If you want a tattoo you generally don’t care about pain though cause it’s so temporary

I have 13 tattoos (feet ribs arms shoulders hips and so on) and that one specific spot on my arm was the only spot on any of my tattoos where i was struggling 😂 the skin seems very sensitive there. None of my other tattoos seemed to hurt me. But on the plus side that tattoo would take like 20 minutes so it wouldn’t be that awful. Mine was a few hours so i was a bit miserable

Would take a few minutes, if that. Depends on how well you sit as well, but that placement wouldn’t be painful at all. I got my first on my ribs/back and it’s a bit bigger than the one you want and has more detail and it only took like 5-6 minutes
