Might sound dumb, but how do I get my hcg levels checked?

My first prenatal is on July 31... I’ll be 8 weeks by then...
Currently 4w3d

They generally won’t check it unless medically necessary. They checked mine because I had multiple miscarriages.

They only check them one when they run full blood labs. You shouldn’t have to get them checked, as long as you’re not have any concerning symptoms (severe cramping, bleeding, etc.) you don’t have to go in for any additions nap testing. I think I only went to the doctor 4 times before my third trimester with my last one.

I had my blood drawn at my first and second prenatal appointments (12 and 16 weeks). I’m sure they looked at my levels, but they never told me what they were. I assume that’s because everything was good.

Unless you're bleeding there's really no reason to do a blood hcg.

I was sent for blood work to confirm pregnancy as soon as I got a positive home test.

When I called my ob they had me come in a take a blood test to confirm. I had to take 2 so they would know it was increasing properly before they scheduled my 8 week appointment.
