Can my 10 week miscarriage possibly be done?
Last Thursday at my 10 week appointment I was told my baby’s heart quit beating. Baby had likely passed a week or two prior, they didn’t tell me exactly. I had been spotting off and on for 3 weeks so I had a clue it wasn’t a good sign but we did see the heartbeat at my 8 week ultrasound... I was always measuring 6 days behind anyway. A few days after my appointment the spotting got heavier and it slowly turned into a normal period, cramping off and on, nothing unbearable. Fast forward to this morning I woke at 3:45 am with severe menstrual cramping- I got out of bed and put a VERY LARGE pad on as I felt something would be coming soon. I laid in our recliner for about an hour and the cramping stopped but shortly after I felt a gush or blood. I went to the bathroom and passed a decent sized clot- but not huge like I’ve read others were. I also had gushes of blood for maybe about an hour off and on so I didn’t leave the toilet. None of the passing was painful. I got up and sat back in the chair but ended up going back as I had more gushes of blood and more clotting... after I was done I thought I could see the outline of baby- but kind of stunned I took a photo then flushed. Since this happened this morning I am still bleeding like a normal period but I feel fine. Could I actually have passed everything that fast?! I’m supposed to go in at 1:15 but I’m nervous. I do not want any medical intervention unless necessary... has anyone else had an experience similar? I feel like this was too easy compared to the horror stories that I have read and I’m afraid of it biting me in the ass. For some reason my photos won’t load on here so I can’t attach one but I’m just wondering if anyone else had a fairly easy natural miscarriage at this stage in pregnancy? Thanks in advance!
Edit: it definitely is not over. Woke again today at 3:45 am with cramping and larger clots. Ugh.
