Boyfriend and i don’t talk much

My boyfriend and I used to talk every night over text, it was kind of like our thing. Ever since he got a snapchat all we do is exchange pictures and we don’t really talk about anything of substance. I’m kind of getting annoyed and want to tell him that I don’t like it how we don’t talk much anymore. I don’t know if I’m overreacting or not and I don’t want it to seem like I don’t like the fact that he got a snapchat, because I don’t really care. Should I say something to him?
