Totally off topic. Can you help me understand?
Here’s what I understand to be true:
-Heat rises
-As you get closer to the sun, it gets hotter
BUT...
-If you go up into the mountains - which are closer to the sun, and higher up (again, heat rises)... it gets colder.
Can someone please help me understand how all three of these can be true at the same time?
