Should sobriety check points continue to be disclosed to the public?
I saw on the news today where an exit off of the interstate would be the place of a sobriety check point tonight. I understand it is the law to disclose these check points to the public prior to them happening, however, doesn’t that defeat the purpose? Sure, some people may not see this announcement, or just may not care. But I can’t grasp/wrap my head around why it must be disclosed. What are your thoughts on this?
