Relationship Advice Please 😩

Long story short, I have been with the father of my unborn (13weeks preg) child for about 10 1/2 months. We aren’t official and he has commitment issues. I was his official girlfriend for about two months before he broke up with me saying he was too stressed with life events (parents messy divorce , school, work, etc.) and hasn’t asked me to be his girlfriend again since. I don’t understand the big deal and try to see his point of view but just can’t. Im loyal to him and he says he’s loyal to me so what’s the big deal to be his official girlfriend? we’re having a BABY together ? we spent most days and nights with eachother. he says he’s “scared” of the official commitment and loves how things are now. we act like a couple and bring eachother around our families, plan to live together once baby is born. im not sure what to do at this point seeing as I love him and want to be with him but i just want the title so badly I don’t understand why I don’t have it yet since we act like we’re a couple ?! I’m trying to be patient because other than not having the official girlfriend title he takes great care of me . P LS give me some advice on how to deal with this?!

p.s no, it’s not possible he cheats, i’m with him 24/7, see his texts that come in, and trust him when it comes to that aspect.
