Wth was that? 😭🤦🏻‍♀️😴

So I took the first dose of procardia around 8pm. OHMYGOD. I went to “bed” around 11:30 but I couldn’t sleep for crap, fell asleep at 4:30am woke up at 7:45. And for the first couple of hours after I took it I felt like I had bricks on my chest, it was so hard to breath!!! Seeing my doctor today for the second round of steroid shots and going to ask her what the heck is up!!? 
Anyone else experience this??

I had a full blown panic attack because I felt as if I couldn’t breathe, almost as if I was having a stroke and paralyzed...

I don’t know if that’s a side effect, but feeling like you have bricks on your chest isn’t good. If you keep experiencing that, maybe go to the ER? Pregnancy puts you at higher risk of clots and whatnot. That’s scary, hope everything is fine.

Yes! I’m 34 weeks now and have been on Procardia since 22 weeks due to uterine irritability causing cramping/contractions. Did you take the dose with food? I’ve noticed if I do not take with food, my chest will feel heavy, start racing and I will get super nauseous. 😬
