Pregnant & Husband Leaving

I am currently 10 weeks pregnant and am considered High Risk (I am a Type 2 diabetic) so far my pregnancy has been a rollercoaster ride since Day 1. My husband has recently just got a job offer with the Dept of Corrections (something he has been pursuing for the past 3 years) in which the prison he has been assigned to is 9 hours away from our home. He would start academy for 12 weeks and then start the job, either way I can't go with him and he is planning to split his time between there and home. This is our first child and I feel now like I am going to be alone through most of it. I just need words of advice from anyone that has been in this "type" of situation or not. it would be greatly appreciated.
