Minors getting birth control
How do I get an IUD without my parents knowing? I’m 16 and I just started having penetrative sex. I’ve done a ton of research and I know that the Mirena is right for me. I just spoke to a guy at planned parenthood and he told me there was no way I could get it without them knowing, but I’m well aware of my right to confidentiality. It was disheartening but I could really use some advice right about now.
