Ectopic pregnancy questions

Anyone do expected management? This is what I’m going through right now, been bleeding for just over three weeks. Before I started bleeding my hcg was 380 then 350 then when I started bleeding was 316. Took drs two weeks to figure out it was ectopic. My hcg levels dropped to 48 in that two weeks so they wanted to do expected management. Hcg then went up to 56 then back down to 19. They said wait 3 months to try again. Anyone go through this and did you conceive again? How long after?
