Is there a point they’ll induce you with high bp?

Mine was 128/82, obviously they wouldn’t induce me for that but if it continues to climb they may. My doctor  checked for protein in my urine and it came back clear. When should I worry?

Once mine hit 162/100 I got admitted to hospital. I also had proteins in my urine.

High blood pressure is considered 140/90. Below that, ur fine. Proteinuria does not always accompany high BP.

Usually over 160s. But 128 is completely normal and you have no protein in your urine so I’m not sure why induction is even on your mind?

Your bottom number is your main concern and right now as you are it’s not too elevated to be of concern. For them to be concerned they will check your bp at least 2-3 times while still there and you’d have to have protein in urine also. But if your bp stayed high at the office they would send you to hospital for longer monitoring. Your bp is considered normal 120/70

Mine was high at the office but not at home (I have white coat hypertension) and once I got to 37 weeks they tried inducing me (it didn’t work).

Yes they would. My best friend went into one of her checkups and had high bp due to anxiety (she was due soon), so they induced her that day.

Mine was pretty close to your and my dr wasn’t concerned because it’s still early but at the Er I was 147/85. Ehh

I was told it's the bottom number that is the concern. Mine was around 85 and once it climbed to 90 i was induced.

I was told once the top number is under 140 and bottom number is under 90 you’re okay. 
For instance 147/78 would be considered high but 136/72 is fine. 
I think they keep an eye on high blood pressure and look for protein in urine as the two combined point towards pre eclampsia.
