What’s your nursery budget?

Hi! I’m expecting my first baby 👶 and I’m trying to start putting together the nursery, and Looking at all the nursery pics I have seen in here, I got curious on how much is an OK budget to put together the nursery.

I spent under $200 but I bought most of it second hand or got things at my baby shower ❤️

Thanks everyone for your comments, I know everybody’s budget will be according to their financial situation. I just wanted to know that I was not going crazy although I knew I was doing pretty good so far. I was making some maths and I have spent less than 200 dlls. The crib was a gift from my parents and I have painted the walls and added some wallpaper, got a dresser for free and painted it (I love DIY projects) which I’ll be using as changing table and got must of the decor at hobby lobby (50%off) and home goods. 
The only thing I have left it’s the mattress, changing pad and I will like to add a rug and a glider (but I believe I will have to pass on the glider). I would love to see everybody’s nursery pics, small or big I know they are all gonna be unique and beautiful 💕

So everything in total for our nursery (crib, crib mattress, glider, changing topper, changing pad, dresser, chest of drawers, mirror) was around $2,000 ($1,895 to be exact) but all of our furniture was bought for us by my boyfriends grandparents as their gift for the baby. I think we definitely spent way more than what was necessary but the nursery is definitely a dream.

We don't have a set budget, but I'm definitely not buying the most expensive stuff. It's still way above the 700+ mark though

I'm having my first 💖 So, we're going all out. We haven't really limited ourselves to a strict budget but we are bargain hunters! We've already saved over $300 just by shopping around and not buying things the first time we see them because in most cases you can find cheaper elsewhere or even make it yourself. 
Also, our travel system, swings, pack-n-play, & things of that nature; we have gotten gender neutral colors/designs so we can use themwith our future children and not have to re-purchase everything. We were going to buy a neutral crib as well but chose one that converts all the way to a full size bed.

I have to get entirely new furniture for it: crib & mattress, dresser, and changing table/pad plus sheets/cover. Wall decals and/or paint, shelves for books, a rug, and decorations. I’m not giving a set budget but it’s going to be more than $1000 I’m sure.

The biggest expenses were a crib ($220), closet organization shelf ($100), and a rocker ($250). We used a dresser we already had for a changing table, and a hand me down rug. We’re nowhere near done yet, but I still expect to spend $700-800. The hanging decor has all been pretty cheap.

We didn't set budget per se but I bought crib off ebay for $189.00 and a oak dresser for $25.00 from Facebook marketplace.  I am waiting to buy new glider and ottoman at around $140.00 soon.  Keeping it cheap!
