Man harassing women for wearing a Puerto Rico shirt 
Man claim she should not be wearing this shirt in the United states and kept asking her if she was a US citizen 
An officer already there witness everything but didn’t do anything
Glad the officer was put on desk duty and man was arrested

The man was charged with a hate crime and the officer resigned during the investigation. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 that’s what they both get and as long as these behaviors get punished it just MIGHT help with this stupid racism issue we have in this country

I have no idea. 
I don't understand this renaissance in biligerant racism that's surfaced these days. Like, it seems almost to be WORSE now that we have an outwardly RACIST President. Its almost as if they have been validated enough to actually harrass and assault innocent bystanders because they can't get over themselves. 
I'm fucking disgusted.

That’s bullshit. You can be proud of where you’re from and anyone who thinks otherwise can suck it. My husband has talked about getting a Puerto Rican flag for the outside of our house and I’m all for it. It’s his and my sons culture and i love that he’s proud of it

The video was really upsetting. 
I’m glad they did something about the officer—this man was clearly harassing her and getting in her personal space as she repeatedly asked him to leave her alone. Then she repeatedly asked the officer for help and to intervene and he just stood there and did nothing.

he probably was so embarrassed when he realized that it's actually u.s territory.  what bothers me though is how the police was literally just watching the issue like it isnt his job to prevent and stop problematic situations.  it's so weird to see how far we have come as a whole but still to this day have sooo much racism.  it's sad
