What pill are you on & how do you feel?

Question

I will start taking my birth control (Lo Loestrin Fe) in a week or so and I’m just curious as to how it will be or how it makes me feel

Absolutely love this pill! My periods were long and i would go with cycles longer than 50 days. This has helped me so much to regulate my periods, stop really bad cramps, now my period lasts 2 days only and I wouldn’t really call it one since it’s just spotting. I love it! Every body is different, what works for someone might not work for you, so give it a try and you’ll find out. Side effects for me lasted the first two weeks of my first pack, such as nausea, dizziness, and moodiness, but it went away during my third week. I got my period earlier in my first month, I basically got it while I was still on the active pills, somewhere about the end of my third week and it lasted a whole week, but it was veeeeeeeery light, however very annoying. Once I had a period on my second, I regulated completely and I get it during the placebo pills.

everyone is different, but I had a lot of side effects from Lolo and asked my doctor to switch after 3 months. the worst was break through bleeding and mood issues! I'm not an anxious person but I suffered terrible anxiety during that time. I switched to alsenya and it's MUCH better! however, Lolo could be a better fit for your body! :)

It's different for everyone of course but when I started takong my pill (Ortho-Cyclen) I felt so bloated for about a week. The second week, I got this super annoying rash on the top of my foot that itched so bad! 😠 (Google said it was normal so I kept using it). That went away within a week as well. After those miserable 2 weeks I started noticing I wasn't as moody or emotional as before, my little bit of acne started to clear up, and my period regulated and my PMS got sooo much easier to handle. I do have to work a little harder to keep from gaining weight from it, but overall it's definitely been worth it. 😊

I was on Tri-Previfem. I felt perfectly fine! I had no side effects the 7 years I was on it.

I’m still nervous and still feel like I don’t know what to do 🤦🏻‍♀️ I’m 21 and I know most girls my age have been on birth control for a while I waited to have sex till I was 19 currently planning a wedding & We don’t want kids just yet so everything is very new to me
