I lost one of my pet rats last Thursday. It's the first time I've had an animal that's actually mine and not a family pet, he turned 22 months on the 3rd July, we lost him 2 days later. My partner got 3 new babies the next day, which I agreed with thinking I could cope, but they're really bitey and I knew they wouldn't be the same cos no rat ever will be. I'm just wondering if it's normal for me to be mad? Not about the new rats, I'm mad because I had to have my baby put to sleep, I'm mad because he didn't fight hard enough, I'm mad because I'm mad. My world is slowly shattering and I'm not sure what to do
