Mine definitely hurt. But the pain lasted for MAYBE  3 seconds. Then there was no pain at all. But the healing process for me was a bitch, It’s been a year since I’ve gotten it pierced and it’s still not fully healed.

Most people I hear say their belly button piercing didn’t hurt but out of all 6 of mine, my belly button honestly hurt the worst and it actually made it a bit painful to walk because you use your stomach muscles to walk. But tbh I have a low tolerance for physical pain so it makes sense lol but it even hurt worse than my septum piercing
