Will ovarian cyst surgery affect my fertility?
I’ve been dealing with a 3.5 cm cyst on my left ovary for the past year. I was in the ER a month ago with sharp, stabbing pain, and they suspect that my ovary twisted and untwisted I its own. They are recommending surgery, but I’m planning to get a second opinion. I’ve read that ovarian surgery can adversely affect your ovarian reserve. I just turned 37, and I need those eggs!
